I already pre-ordered the Go Go Hamster starter set and intend to get the accessories on BF. All the hype along with the limited availability makes me think it'll sell out fast.

Also on the list are: new cell phones for hubby and teenager, mini laptop for teenager, and PlayStation DSi for the youngest. If the deals allow and the bonus they're half-promising on BF (yay!) it may be the right year to get a flat screen, hi-def TV. We have a barely color console. This would be a gift for the entire family.

My dd7 doesnt want any Zhu Zhu pets. She played with some over the weekend and wasnt too thrilled about them. So, they're no longer on the list, which I really dont mind because they seem impossible to find.

Other things on my list: of course, toys and clothes for my 2 girls, mini laptop or netbook and WII so far. Im sure I'll be adding more as BF gets closer.

My daughter's list isn't very large (YET) for this year. So far we are only looking for ...

Zhu, Zhu Pets (hampsters only already have the accesories)
Wii with the Wii Fit (already purchased some clearanced games)
Hawanki ??? (fashion clothes design set)

Already done with in-laws, nieces, nephews, etc. Only have to concentrate on DD now.

I need help and suggestions! I have an 8 year old step daughter and she is FINALLY in our custody.. And I have no Idea what to get her. If it comes on TV she wants it. I found out at her birthday that just because she "wants" it she probably wont play with it. Like the dance mat she had to have that is been played with once. no.gif

Just a heads up the "Skechers Shape Ups" are suppose to be very bad for your back and posture. They put your spine in a weird alignment which can lead to back pain. That's what my yoga teacher and chiropractor said anyway, for what it's worth, lol.

What about a nintendo ds (if she doesn't have one). Most kids like those. A trampoline. A Playstation 2 or Wii.

The other one is 9 and she is tough...so far we have Zhu Zhu pets, only the hamsters we have the other things, a new TV, roller skates she wants a Nintendo DSi, not sure if I'm going there or not, and Wii Fit.....and I'm sure about a million other things will get added on too!

I agree on the Nintendo DS. My DD, now 12, used to play with hers ALL the time. (still now only occasionally) I would do e-rewards to get the $25 Game Stop GC so I could get her games there for free. (get the previously owned ones and you and trade them in when they get bored with them) tongue.gif

**Oh DS is great for long car trips too

Usually I am wrapping up by now (or at least have a really good start). Yikes.

My list so far:
Fun twin sized quilts or comforters for boys
Reasonably priced (but not piece of junk) telescope (may have found one on Amazon)
Gas grill for Dh
Thomas the Tank Engine stuff for 3 year old
Bikes (possibly, if funds work out ok after everything else)

I have also decided that I am going to turn my huge basket of mismatched socks into a giant art project and buy everyone new socks. It's such a mess that I have to completely start over.

All I want for myself is for the kids not to get sick Thanksgiving night again. Two years ago, I spent all of Black Friday cleaning up puke (I think Fli did too). That was NOT FUN.

poop and puke. i had them camped out on the living room floor so i could take care of them. I always hope for them not to be that sick. it was one horrible night that night. i remember you had the same problem too.

Well I am pretty much done! Both of my teens are at their limit already! Heres an idea of what my two wanted:
My 13yr old daughter-Jeans, sweaters, flannel shirts, cowboy boots, the new hasbro "family night" wii game, a promise ring, 2 necklaces, couple things for her room, and an outrageuosly high priced sweatshirt from vic secret....
My 16yr old son wanted tons of xbox games which took most of his allowable amt for christmas but i also got him a couple books, boots, hi tops, some jeans and khakis and boxers and socks.
done with my husband, lil brothers and my parents! only have in laws left and i have no idea ...they have everything!

ps..i forgot...i havent even thought of what i might want......funny how that happens when you are trying to please all those around you
